Subscription Update Obituary

Vivigean Cunningham Dewberry, age 92, of Bartlett, Tennessee died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at her home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery at Paynes with Rev. Guy Lindsey officiating.

Vivigean was born on October 7, 1928 in Tallahatchie County and was the daughter of the late Greek Lewis Cunningham, Sr. and Fannie Sellers Cunningham.

Vivigean was a homemaker, a loving mother and a devoted minister‘s wife. She was a member of the Church of God.

Vivigean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. Archie T. Dewberry; four sisters, Clyde Murphy, Angeleen Brewer, Eunice Priscilla Cunningham, and Josephine Mims; and four brothers, Archie Cunningham, James Cunningham, G.L. Cunningham, Jr., and Joe Edgar Cunningham.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Galey Strickland and Judith Dewberry, both of Bartlett; three grandchildren, Jason Galey, Therese Bratkowsky (Jason) and Karen Irons (Dan) and four great-grandchildren, Karinne Bratkowsky, Sarah Grace Galey, Sean Bratkowsky, Savannah Irons.
